This Journey Through Your Medical Coverage video illustrates our flow and what the students can expect. It does this in an engaging yet informational way.
The concept
Most students travel a great distance to come study in Canada. They must be ready to take on adventure (and lots of paperwork!) That's how this concept came to life, how do we make paperwork exciting? Make it into a little paper boat.
A moodboard was the first step in creating this animation. Pulling together various nautical visuals as well as paper textures and collage inspiration was key.
The obstacles
One of the challenges was this needed to be translated into multiple languages so relying on typography was not an option. It also needed to be gender neutral and have longevity. We wanted to tell a story where the viewer identifies with the little boat and gets carried away. With the use of simple metaphors each step is explained to the students so they know what to expect while using our services.
The solution
A whimsical take on health coverage. Providing both the students and Study Insured a way to communicate by offering visual cues to explain our process.
